Open Practice

Gloucester Ski Centre’s Responsibility Code

To use the dry ski slope without lessons, you must meet our minimum recreational standards i.e. you must be able to control your speed, direction, turn, stop and use the lifts – in accordance with the Responsibility Code. Until you have reached this standard we have a range of lessons aimed at getting you there. To recreationally ski or snowboard on our dry slope, there is no need to book, simply turn up. All recreational users must complete a questionnaire on entry or hold a User Card. Helmets are essential for all participants aged 16 & under. They are available to rent from the centre for £2.00

Recreational prices vary according to the seasons so get in some early practice before peak season for best value for money and avoid the winter rush.

Recreational practice

Recreational practice is the ideal way to improve what you have learnt in a lesson or to prepare yourself for your holiday. The slopes are available during normal opening hours except when dedicated to ski racing.
