Please note, our main slope will be closed on Saturday 4th September all day and Sunday 5th September until 3pm. Booking should now be available online.


This page is to help you understand what we are doing and what changes are in place whilst restrictions are in place

Due to NHS test and trace, we will be taking names and contact numbers of all vistors entering the premises, or Scanning the NHS QR code on arrival.

Please remember the social distancing rules! we can only stay in operation if we all adhere to these rules! 

Covid-19 guide to navagating the Centre:

Please ensure you wear a mask whilst inside the building.

You enter through the main entrance. and can exit via the same doors or round the side of the building.

Ski hire is back open as a changing room, we are still not taking shoes or bags from customers and no bags/equipment is to be left inside the building, please only bring what you will need and you can leave your shoes outside under the eaves on our shoe racks!

If you are on a lesson, wait outside and the instructor will meet you out there

You can still hire equipment, we clean our equipment after each use and sanitise using EC4

there are multiple hand sanitising stations around the centre but please also bring your own sanitiser if possible

the bar/ cafe is open for seated service and for take away.

we are only accepting card payments and contactless to make things quick and easier!

tubing is a maximum of 12 which social distancing measures in place

all ski and snowboard lessons are back at full capacity.

all equipment given to customers will be clean and sanitised using EC4

when finished with hire equipment, you put the skis, boots and poles back into ski hire by the lockers in the designated ares and can leave either through the bar or round the side of the centre.

there is no entering the reception area through ski hire, you can only access reception through the bar or apon entering the building. 

You leave through the bar and pass reception or round the side of the building (all signposted)

The toilets are open and checked and cleaned regularly 

There are multiple hand sanitising stations throughout the building and outside.

Staffing & Reduced Hours:

Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre will be operating with a skeleton team of staff with reduced hours before things return to normal. This may effect the speed of service, but we will do everything we can to keep things running as efficiently as possible. Our opening hours will be as follows:

Monday 10:00- 22:00

Tuesday 14:00 - 22:00

Wednesday 10:00 - 22:00

Thursday 12:30 - 20:30 (Main Slope Unavailable From 18:00)

Friday 10:00 - 22:00

Saturday 10:00 - 18:00

Sunday 10:00 - 18:00


Pre booking will be essential.

All bookings should be made and paid for a minimum of 24 hours before the session.



The following is subject to change if new Government guidelines are brought in.

All facilities will be available, but with restrictions.

The Café/Bar will be in operation for sit down service and take away services 

Reception will be used as a check-in point, where you are to state your name on arrival, so we can check pre payment has been made as detailed above.

The Ski Hire room and Changing Area are open as normal. Customers are advised to get ready prior to arrival. Instructors for ski lessons will meet customers outside. Customers for tubing will take there tubes from ski hire and head outside to the bottom of the tubing slope for a briefing. Any hire kit is to be returned to ski hire in the designated areas (all signposted)

Battle-Hill - The leader of the party should check in at the main ski centre reception. All other party members should wait by the trees to the left of the entrace steps (remember to socially distance) for the instructor.

Toilets -  If you can avoid using the toilet, unless absolutely necessary it would be appreciated. Regular checks will be done of the toilets.

Lifts will be operating as normal with socially distant queueing in operation. Gloves, as always, are mandatory. Individuals are advised to bring their own face masks, but these are not mandatory for outside . Personal hand sanitiser is also strongly advised.

Any disregard for social distancing on site should be reported to a member of staff. anyone found not adhering and put other customers or staff at risk will be asked to leave, no refund will be given.

During lessons, customers will be split into groups of five with one instructor. These groups are to remain separate from other groups at all times.

Tubing and BattleHill

if participating in Tubing or BattleHill, please wait in the car park in the designated area and remain socially distant, the head of the group should come to reception to check in and wait back with the group. the groups will then get picked up from the car park to start their session.
